Today we documented the demolition of the 4th Street Bridge connecting Newport, Kentucky and Covington, Kentucky over the Licking River. To capture the full story, we covered it from multiple perspectives: • Aerial drone footage flying north with downtown Cincinnati in the background • Ground-level footage shooting south • A camera positioned just below the bridge to capture the structure from underneath Demolition only happens once. There are no second takes. Drone construction photography doesn’t just document new construction — it also preserves the final moments of structures that have been part of the landscape for decades.
