Throughout the bay, there are many different types of whales that inhabit the waters. Some of them come up from Hawaii after giving birth, to feed on the fish found within Nimmo Bay. Armstrong and Murray spot orca and humpback whales swimming throughout the bay. Whale watching has become a main sightseeing attraction throughout British Columbia. Through a trek in the forest, Murray and Armstrong look for black bears that come to the banks of the river to feed upon salmon. They spot a mama black bear with her cubs on their journey. It is important to make noise when you see a bear, and not to come between a mother and her cubs.
