https://letsgomenorca.com/ Here we have put together a quick video to give you some idea of the fantastic Menorca resort Son Bou. We stayed for a week with Villa plus at Villa Laurel. Villa Laurel is location in Son Bou at a region called San Jaime. It was only a 15 minute walk to the town centre. In the town centre there are many restaurants and shops, plus a couple of really good supermarkets. There are a few really big hotels: Son Bou Menorca Sol Milanos Pinguinos Valentin Son Bou Menorca Son Bou Gardens Menorca Menorca Royal Son Bou Family Club You will also an atm machine in the town centre if you need some cash. Its got everything you need. Son Bou is quite unique on the south facing part of Menorca. It has a long sandy beach with backs onto sand dunes. Then after the sand dunes you have apartments and villas that start to climb up the hill behind the town. Some of the villas on the sea facing hill tops have fantastic views. We could see the sea from our villa and could watch the beautiful sunsets each evening. For getting around, there is a bus service from the town to Mahon or going the other way Ciutadella. If you prefer a cab, there is a taxi rank near the main roundabout in the centre of town. If your travelling to the resort for a day on the beach, there is plenty of parking if you head past the main roundabout heading for the seafront.
