This week on Live From The Shop Elio welcomes special guest @Cooper Alan. Cooper came to Nashville from Winston Salem, NC. three short years ago and has already made a name for himself as a rising artist. Throughout high school and his four years at UNC Chapel Hill, he played bars, college campuses, and Honky Tonks all across the Carolinas. Cooper met hit songwriter/producer Victoria Shaw who signed him within weeks to a publishing deal. He has since written with people like @Rivers Rutherford, @Seth Mosley, @Kent Blazy, @Lee Thomas Miller, @Matt Nolen, @Skip Black, and of course, @Victoria Shaw. This past year, Cooper has gained tremendous growth on Tik Tok building a following of 2.6 million. His single “New Normal” released in August of 2020 debuted at #1 on the iTunes country charts and currently has over 9 million streams. His song “Tough Ones” reached #1 on the iTunes all genre charts and hit nearly 1 million streams in the first week. His latest release, “Too Soon” dropped last week and was his third iTunes #1!
