This thrilling digitised cine film is split into 2 parts, and you're diving into Part One! Get ready for an exhilarating Tour of North Wales from the vibrant 1960s. The adventure kicks off with a breathtaking view of the North East coast of North Wales in Flintshire, showcasing the iconic Fielding Arms Hotel near Pantasaph. Next up, behold the stunning St. David’s Church in Pantasaph! Then, we journey to Bangor-on-Dee, where the majestic St. Dunawd's Church takes centre stage. Watch as a couple enjoys the scenery from the Bangor Bridge over the River Dee, with St. Dunawd's Church on the left and glimpses of the lively High Street and the now-famous Royal Oak pub! Enjoy a picturesque view of the River, followed by a stunning shot of Bangor Bridge from the path next to the Church, showcasing the Pub once more. Witness a lock gate opening, likely on the Llangollen canal, as the charming cabin cruiser named Katherine glides into view, complete with a Vervet monkey perched at an open window, holding a ring! More cruisers appear, along with cars parked nearby. Another lock gate swings open for a cruiser, closely followed by a second boat and a fisherman sat casting his line. The scene shifts to Anglesey, with boats and yachts anchored gracefully at Holyhead. Admire the coastal charm with houses lining the shore and cars cruising by. Get ready for a classic sight as a Ford Consul and Ford Zephyr approach the cameraman! More enchanting views of the coastal village of Cemaes, reveal boats resting in the harbour during low tide. A grand property overlooks the beach where people are splashing in the sea. Cottages line the river at low tide, accompanied by boats. Watch as two men on a large boat tinker with the engine. The camera captures another street filled with parked cars and bustling shoppers. The stunning Beaumaris Castle is the final location in Part One.
