How to crochet the perfect granny square! 🧶 BONUS: a guide to weaving in ends with minimal effort.

In today’s video, I‘ll show you how I crochet a granny square, including my preferred cast method, a modified technique for starting a new row / round, and my absolute favorite approach to weaving in ends as I go to eliminate the additional effort of using a darning needle. In this video, I don’t show you how I personally weave in the last end to my final round of crochet with a darning needle, but if you would like a tutorial, please let me know in the comments. I also mention the importance of blocking, which I never heard of throughout the many years I crocheted before learning to knit. Blocking is just a word for washing and laying flat to dry, only you intentionally shape the material to its preferred dimensions or shape.
