Yesterday we got to witness the swearing in ceremony for four young men into the brotherhood of the Collin County Sheriff’s Department under our friend Sheriff Jim Skinner. It took place at Punk Carter’s arena and in front of the Valor Program inmates who are working with Pat and I this week. Punk Carter is a world renowned cutting horse trainer. I know the audio is challenging to hear in some places due to the intermittent rain drops falling on a metal roof but I encourage you to strain your ears to listen to the words of Sheriff Skinner. We are so impressed by the high standards set by this man and everyone in his department. He is truly what law enforcement should aspire to be.
