My second channel for unboxings, product reviews and travel vlogs: http://bit.ly/21QMD7z Recipe: 3 cups all-purpose flour (375g) 2 1/2 tbsp white granulated sugar (14g) 1 cup milk (250ml) 1 egg yolk 3/4 tsp salt (about 3g) 1 1/2 tbsp unsalted butter (21g), softened (I used salted butter, not enough salt to make a difference) 2 1/4 tsp instant active dry yeast (1 envelope or 8g) 2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa 2 tbsp matcha/green tea powder Mix milk, butter and egg yolk together in a large bowl and place in microwave for 40-60 seconds until mixture feels warm to the touch. Add sugar, salt and yeast and mix together. Blend in one cup of flour with a spoon or whisk. Divide the mixture equally into three bowls. One bowl will stay plain. Stir in the cocoa into the second bowl. Stir in the matcha into the third bowl. For all three bowls, do the following: Add about a 1/3 cup of flour to the wet mixture stir until it pulls away from sides, transfer to counter top. Knead until smooth and elastic, adding little bits of flour to help keep it from sticking to your hands or counter. Place dough ball in a flour dusted bowl and cover with plastic wrap. Set in a warm place to rise until doubled. Once the dough has doubled, it is up to you what you want to do! If you try this and succeed, please let me know!
