Eligible workers and job seekers in Thailand can easily create a profile on the smartphone app and apply for thousands of real jobs already posted by vetted Thai employers we work closely with on worker voice. As a non-profit with tech and data expertise, our mission is to end forced labor and that includes solutions that eliminate exploitation, fees, informality, and lack of transparency in recruitment. Throughout the pandemic, we have seen documented and undocumented workers laid off and unable to return home (particularly for Myanmar workers with the brutal military coup). But at the same time, employers in some sectors have labor shortages, and a regularization process in Thailand has allowed hundreds of thousands of undocumented migrant workers to be formally employed - if they can find an employer, and quickly. Informal and/or exploitative brokers jumped into these gaps, but we’ve worked quickly to finalize our platform and have employers and job seekers in Thailand directly connect on real jobs with no recruitment fees, that are monitored to deliver on promised conditions.
