The Guides Choice was originally developed as a Golden Stone imitation for the Jackson Hole One Fly event. The pattern rode low and was sized down for the picky trout of the South Fork of the Snake. Orvis carried the pattern until they were bought out by Fulling Mills. The golden pattern is still available through Fulling Mills. The Salmon Fly is based off the original pattern with a few modifications to make tying a bit easier and takes advantage of our new antenna material.
