"The Girl with the Pointed Hat" composed and arranged by dante gofar full score: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1QwrB... I composed an original orchestral theme inspired by Witch Hat Atelier to celebrate the upcoming anime! This is my absolute favourite manga series of all time, and one that I truly believe is a work of art through and through - I wanted to put my love for the characters and the world that Kamome Shirahama created into a piece of music and create a sort of "main theme" for an alternate version of the anime. I first started working on this personal project of mine around half a year ago--back when the original anime announcement was made public, but from a combiunation of a busy work schedule (and a lot of burnout), it took me quite a bit to get it finished to a point where I was truly happy with it. Before long, they announced that Yuka Kitamura (notable for her work on Elden Ring) was chosen as to compose for the adaptation, bringing along a very medieval-gothic-folk sound to the series, something that I think is perfect (but definitely not what I was expecting to hear from the first trailer) As an orchestrator, I still consider myself to be much of an amateur, but I found a lot of my inspirations in the works of Joe Hisaishi, Takatsugu Muramatsu, Evan Call, and Michiru Oshima. In fact, I initially predicted that they would pick Oshima as the composer for the adaptation as I felt her being a woman composer and a briliant one at that would make her perfect for the themes and the overall vibe of the series. So in essence, I feel like my own style is reminiscent of little bits and pieces from each of these people embedded into something. Perhaps it's a bit awkward, but I'm very happy with my work here, and I hope to be able to write more orchestral works in the near future. #witchhatatelier #Δ帽子
