In reference to the Birbhum massacre in West Bengal, a series of disorderly scenes took place in the state assembly in the Bengal. Due to such a chaos, five BJP MLAs were suspended, the suspensions taking place after the demand for a discussion over the violence. The Birbhum case, in which at least 8 people were charred to death in an arson incident, led to a scuffle between TMC and BJP MLAs. The postpartum results indicate that the victims were brutally beaten up before their homes were set to fire last week in Bengal's Birbhum. Manoj Tigga, BJP MLA, and TMC MLA Asit Majumdar were allegedly manhandled and involved in the unruly events at the state assembly.
