====== Oregon City is one of those AMAZING Portland suburbs that you don’t want to miss out on! Depending on where you are coming from it is relatively affordable and has a great historic downtown area which are just a few of the big pros in this area that make Oregon City, Oregon one of the greatest spots to move to right now, especially with the current issues in Portland, Oregon City is a great option. First off, downtown Oregon City is full of amazing bars, restaurants, and fun things to do like Axe Throwing. It’s got great coffee and food, so you really don’t have to travel far to enjoy a night out. Not only that, but the housing here is absolutely fantastic! You’ll find a wide range of home prices anywhere between $300,000 and over $1,000,000 depending on where you are in Oregon City. There are also quite a few new subdivisions with beautiful brand-new homes that are available and new construction homes are basically first come, first serve (so no bidding wars!). You also have some beautiful historic homes in the area that are close to downtown and are full of that classic character & charm that many people enjoy in a historical home. And then there is a very rural Oregon City with small & large houses on acreage. So, whatever you’re looking for, Oregon City really has it all! Oregon City is also really close to the Willamette River, so you’re 5-10 minutes away from boating, hiking, and biking. Oregon City is close to Mt Hood, the Oregon Coast and the Columbia Gorge which gives you a lot of opportunities to explore the great state of Oregon.
