This is Utsuho's Theme from Touhou 11 SA. As some of you may already know, SA is my favorite game ever, and this particular boss fight is one of the many reasons why. I'll never forget my first encounter with Utsuho...one of my fondest gaming memories. So, what about her theme? Oh, man. This is without a doubt the single most "final boss sounding" piece in the entire series. It goes INSANELY hard. Even though it's not my absolute favorite, it is by far the most epic. In fact, it's SO epic that the toughest part about the whole performance was trying to stay calm and not get myself TOO hyped. This theme is the literal equivalent of an adrenaline rush. You wanna try and make the piece sound powerful on piano, but you also don't wanna overdo it. It's all about finding this weird balance, really. Gameplay footage by me!
