It is playing a key role in the economic development in India since ancient time. Cow urine also contains iron, calcium, phosphorus, carbonic acid, potash, and lactase. It contains 24 types of salt and several useful medicines are made from cow urine. Cows are very beneficial to us. They provide us milk which is a great source of protein. Milk is used to make many dairy products like butter, ghee, cream, yogurt, etc. Scientific research has found that the ritual of burning cow dung and ghee as fuel for these sacred fires, actually purifies the air, and has anti-pollutant and anti-radiation qualities in the environment. Cow dung is used as fuel and fertilizer. The manure helps in growing plants. Earlier, every village in India had a gousala. Deshi cows were protected and bred for pedigree purpose (to maintain original breeds in different climatic situation) In every aspect, the cow is beneficial to man - the milk provides the required nutrition to the entire family, natural fertilizers and pesticides are manufactured from deshi cow dung.
