Lifting the Roof on My Van Build: A Massive Transformation! 🚐✨ In this video, I take on one of the biggest challenges of my van build project so far: lifting the entire roof of my van to create space for my remote moveable bed. This is no small task—it involves cutting, welding, and a lot of problem-solving, but the results are absolutely worth it! What’s in this video: Cutting the roof off the van and preparing for the lift Building custom scaffolding to support the roof during the transformation Welding new steel plates to create a seamless, factory-like finish Overcoming challenges like thin steel plates and tricky angles Adding structural supports for a future roof terrace (yes, a roof terrace!) Finalizing the new roofline and prepping for paint This project has been a rollercoaster of emotions, from stress and doubt to pure excitement as I see my vision come to life.
