We spent over a week at Isla Cedros, and it was definitely worth every minute. The people were amazingly friendly and the perspective the island offered us (something to contrast to our normal American lives, with all of our comforts and belongings) was nothing less than shocking. But, even though we wished we could stay another few weeks, we needed to keep going south to get to our actual intended destinations. We pulled up anchor and headed for Turtle Bay in hopes of getting Pesos from a bank or ATM, as well as get fuel for the boat. She was designed by the famous naval architect William Garden, and built in the notorious Taiwanese shipyards of the 70s and 80s. She weighs over 40,000 pounds, and pushes through rough seas like a bully... but that's not why we named her Bully. Actually, "Bully" is an archaic term used often in old sea shanties, and has a variety of meanings.
