BLACKSTAR ht1r mkII Take a piek inside this beautiful designed little tube amp. You may have not expected the high tech PCB micro computer printing on the board which makes it maybe less attractive to mod, I assume. Never the less, the sound is the best I have had so far from a low watt tube amp. I'm playing for 40 years guitar and have had a low watt tube vox, a fender and a marshall. At the end of the day it is the Tone that matters and this is the best one so far. A few side marks: They could make the british side of the ISF nob more voxy like. It's a bit dall, what they rever like "woody". I would like it more "shimy". And maybe one tone nob to shape the overall tone a little bit more. But overall Blackstar did a very good job with this little amp and with my 2x12 inch Celestion cab it sound even better! Excellent job guys! By the way the subtiele music in the background is not from the Blackstar amp. There are enough sound clips on youtube to get an impression. But you have to hear it live to get a good idear of the amp. Live it sounds much better. Greatings and happy playing!
