We learned how to create a startup in ALGERIA: Visit to SGA, Minister of startups Oualid Yacine 🤯

Another week means another adventure! This week was filled with work and meetings for our startups They had the opportunity to discover the world of finance and banking and learn about the legal process when it comes to creating startups in Algeria, and present their projects, through our visit to our dear partner Societe Generale Algerie. Another event that week was the Educteck fair, where all our startups had a booth set up so people could come and learn more about them and their ideas. The startups were excited to be able to present their projects in person at their first ever fair! They were able to meet potential customers, which was a great experience for them. Especially Assem Zereg and his project Tahadi, an app that will help you discover different touristic zones through a game. Baba Jaiteh with his solution G-QUIZ a gamified app for exams preparation Ahmed Helmy and his long awaited solution Bus-14 a transportation service for schools and enterprises. Last but not least, The Minister of Startups, Micro-entreprises and knowledge economy , Mr Yacine Oualid alongside Mr Tarik BENBAHMED paid us a visit at the IncubMe headquarters The startups were eager to introduce their solutions to the minister and address multiple questions to Mr Oualid, regarding Labels, regulations and finances around startups in Algeria. Algeria is welcoming startups from Africa and the Middle East, in an initiative led by IncubMe startup incubator in aim to support entrepreneurs and idea holders, for a 4 months journey filled with hard work, fun and adventure. This program was created by IncubMe, the pan african startup incubator, founded in 2018 by Algerian entrepreneurs with the mission of supporting project leaders by providing the ideal environment in which one can materialize their ideas and create their businesses.
