US HEAVY TANKS IN WW2 WERE CRAZY! - THE DOOM TURTLE

The T28 in War Thunder is basically a stripped down version of the T95 Doom Turtle. So, it's lovingly known as the Diet Doom Turtle! :) The US T28 super heavy tank destroyer is definitely an interesting US Tank! It's a HUGE armoured wall with a whopping 300mm of frontal armour making it pretty much invincible from the front from vehicles at its respective battle rating. Unfortunately, this is War Thunder and it can get uptiered to fight Leopard Tanks and even BMP-1 with ATGM's! The side armour on the T28 is only 50mm thick making it VERY easy to take out. Not only that, your muzzle break is literally the size of an M22 light tank so most shots that come in will probably knock it out making you virtually useless! :) The T28 has a 105mm cannon which absolutely SLAPS enemies with 250mm of penetration with one of the largest APHE rounds in the game. Oh, and it's ballistic capped so angles aren't really an issue either. Put it this way... you can knock out a German Panther Tank at a range of 2000m on the upper front plate!
