TAKING YOUR POSITION IN YOUR WALK WITH GOD

This is our Fifth installment of the series; TAKING YOUR POSITION IN YOUR WALK WITH GOD. This morning we were taught about STANDING FIRM EVEN IF YOU FACE ADVERSITY REGARDING WHAT GOD HAS PUT IN YOUR HEART ‭‭John‬ ‭9‬:‭1‬-‭3‬ ‭ Whatever happens in children’s life could be because of the parents involvement The outcome of a child’s life could be a result of their parents. Whatever God does in your life should be seen as God displaying His works through you and not so that you can be dominant over others. Your success must be understood as God displaying His works through you. Jeremiah 29:11 The knowledge of God’s plan in our life is the first thing we should strive to understand Satan cannot stop God from Blessing you, but satan can stop you from chasing God. Adversity and opposition reveals what God has put in you. Adversity must not be looked upon as a way of destruction. Adversity is like quality assurance for believers. Opposition must never snuff out the light that Jesus has put in our lives. Parents should ask God to reveal to them the destiny of their children. And help them to become. Parents should know the quality that came from them and fight for that quality in their children. The first level of destiny is their mother. Genesis 37:5-11 Where there is a family there will always be dreams. But those dreams might not satisfy the requirement of the family. Siblings must learn to appreciate the successes of their siblings Children do not become what parents want them to become. Parents help them become what God wants them to become. Parents will one day bow before their children. Not as worship, but as a form of depending on their children. As a parent, what kind of child do you want to bow before one day when you’re old? The best way to look at opposition is as destiny helpers. Opposition is pushing you in the direction you should go. Parents should stop pushing their children to being equal. Some equalities will only be achieved at the cost of their destiny. Instead of fighting for equality parents should fight for harmony. It is God’s Will for children to be different and fulfill their own destiny Genesis 4:3-7 Genesis 25:22-23 Instead of looking for ways to destroy your siblings, seek God for favour for your own destiny. Siblings should realise that whatever that God put in your hand is not for you alone God never prospers anyone for themselves. It’s always for you and those around you. The children you give birth to only know you and regard you as an authority. There’s a point where laying your life down for your children’s destiny is important. You are not surrounded by nations of the same mind. There is always diversity in the nations you birth Having your children as two different nations, means that you will be surrounded and secured by nations. Nations have different strengths. If God has put you on a higher pedestal than your siblings, do what Joseph did, lay your life down for them so that God can put them on a higher pedestal too. The diversity of your children must never bring grief to the family. Being a mother or father doesn’t not make you a parent. To be a mother or father all you do is give birth to someone. To be a parent is to nurture the child to growth. Matthew 12:46-50 If you ever hope to become a nation, be a God chaser. Seek God with all your heart and you will find Him. Where there is a nation in building, the devil will throw in what attracts the eye to throw you. Submit to God’s processes if you’re trusting Him to make you a nation. Carry your difference with dignity.
