Here's a rhythm exercise I created last week for my students. The aim is to play short rhythmic motifs on different meters. You will definitely have to count out loud in the beginng to stay on track, while the meter is changing from 3/4 to 4/4 and 5/4. The motif starts on different parts of the bar and therefor must be phrased differently. This exercise is designed to develop your time feel.
