A Year On & Off the Road

A cinematic highlight edit of my road trips and travels from 2025. 2025 was an intense, emotional, and unforgettable year. A year full of movement, change, challenges, and moments I’ll remember forever. I was able to turn two long-time dreams into reality: buying my Land Rover and eventually moving into a home in a warmer place here on Mallorca. This year wasn’t just about travel though. It came with major changes, difficult moments, and unexpected challenges – both on the road and in life. But looking back, it was a year that shaped me more than any other. The journeys started in January with my first road trip to Mallorca, where I got a first taste of life on the road and spent 3 weeks exploring the island. After a period of transition, moving out of my apartment and searching for a new vehicle, I bought my Land Rover in early summer and took it on its first trip to Italy. In August, I set off on a longer journey through Eastern Europe. While that trip ended earlier than planned due to death of my cat and technical issues, it was still one of the most intense experiences of the year. October and November I spent on Mallorca and along the Spanish coast before heading back to Germany to spent the Christmas time with my family.
