Knitting a stitch through the back loop is needed if you want to knit twisted rib stitches or twisted cables. It can be a great way to add further structure to your pattern. And it's actually quite easy to knit it! Step by step: keep your yarn in front as if to purl Insert your needles from left to right into the back loop wrap the yarn around the needle counter-clockwise and then pull the yarn through That's how you purl through the back loop. It's that simple. What I usually do is, I don't really insert the needle from left to right. That's very uncomfortable in the long run. I usually insert it from front to back. Just make sure your needle comes out on the right side of the front loop. ►Visit my blog for a free knitting school: https://nimble-needles.com/learn-to-k... ►Follow me on Facebook to get regular updates and stay in touch: / nimbleneedlez
