catalogue of all the great biking roads I come, to help others in the same situation as me looking for new roads and to plan adventures. Here is a video from my first ever tour abroad, which last a total of 2700 miles and 6 days. it was a bucket list tour of mine ticking as many of the passes I could in one journey. This clip was from day 3 which was the first day of 'proper' riding, after 2 days of blitzing the autoroutes and autobahns to get as far as possible. The weather was a little bit disappointing, but the break in downpour and hail from the previous day was welcome. Thankfully by the time we entered Italy the sun was shining! We started this day in Zell Am See and finished in lake Como via Stevio and an unplanned diversion into Switzerland due to our planned route down Stevio being closed! unfortunately due to the weather we didnt get to enjoy the stop off in Zell Am See, but we did enjoy a takeaway pizza! In this video we ride to the summit of Stelvio via the Prato side, tackling the infamous 48 hairpin bends. I really enjoyed the road and it's stunning views. However it was probably the busiest pass and found I had to be mindful on the bends for incoming traffic.
