The concept of a #scrum of scrums stems back from the late 1990s where teams experimented with a series of #dailyscrum to help escalate insight in ever increasing circles. The thinking was that a problem could be escalated fairly rapidly throughout the organization if it was identified in the earliest #dailyscrum in the day and in theory, it could be escalated to #executive or #agileleadership level within hours.
