Acrylic Painting - Jim Darkmagic & Omin Dran (Mike & Jerry of Penny Arcade) - Part 2

This video shows the second part of a painting themed "Alter Egos in the Gaming World" showing two of my favorite people in the artistic/gaming/nerdy universe: Jerry Holkins and Mike Krahulik of Penny Arcade. If you don't know them - check them out at    / pennyarcadetv   I'm very much into tabletop games and I love good story telling, and RPG games - such as D&D - are covering that pretty well and are fun to watch/play (but only if you have a good DM). When I watched Mike & Jerry playing D&D at Pax, I had the idea to put them on canvas as their alter egos (nope, not the usual Gabe & Tycho) and depict them entering that phantasy world. Check out the other (upcoming) parts of the video to see that world unfold in front of your eyes. Painting this part of the picture took me about 1 hour, which brings me to a total of 3.5 hours for this project so far.
