All of the photographs were made with either the Fuji XF10 or the Fuji XE3 with the fujinon 27mm 2.8 lens. Also, one thing that I didn't mention in the episode that I think is worth mentioning here... Recently people have been asking me if the photos I'm showing in these journal episodes are fuji jpegs or if I'm shooting Raw and editing. Most of the pictures that you're gonna see in this episode have a preset applied that I created by matching my favorite jpg photos from this shoot (In the episode I talk about those two photos) and the equivalent raw files. I emulated the chrome look that comes out of the fujixf10 vs the fuji xe3 because I prefer the colors that I get from the XF10 when set to Chrome with shadows plus 2. I also created a different preset which I applied to the majority of the night shots which I'm calling the postcard preset. Usually when I apply this preset it gives my travel photos the look of a postcard from the 70's (at least in my mind it does). You'll notice which were shot with which preset because the chrome simulation preset I created will not have borders and photos with the postcard preset will have a black border on them. If you are looking for a review on these two cameras or a review on the 27mm 2.8, you won't get that here but I will tell you that I personally love using them all. The more I use them, the more I love these combinations. That being said, what you can get out of this video, is a lot of real world examples of how these cameras and lens can be put to use. For me when I'm considering buying something, that's what I look for and it's what I'm sharing with you. If you have questions about the gear, ask me in the comments and I'd be happy to answer as honestly as i can based off of my own experience. I hope you're all doing well and staying safe. gear used to make this video ( disclaimer, you can get these A LOT cheaper if you buy them used on sites like ebay for example. I put these here for those of you who don't want to take the risk on used gear and tend to buy gear new. If that is you, and you purchase using these links, it supports the channel.
