The Foundation supports genuine, high-impact conservation initiatives by increasing their visibility, building strong partnerships, and securing tax-efficient funding to help them grow. The projects we support are often small, remote, and under the radar, led by passionate people working directly in the field—initiatives where even modest support can create a substantial and lasting impact. We believe the best way to truly understand these initiatives is to experience them firsthand. For this reason, we organize trips that allow participants to actively assist and assess conservation projects directly in the field. Our voluntourism programme begins in Zimbabwe, in partnership with Imvelo Trust. Through the Community Rhino Conservation Initiative, the programme combines wildlife conservation with community development. Rhinos are reintroduced into communal land in a way that generates direct benefits for local communities through conservation fees. Alongside this work, Imvelo Trust supports projects focused on education, healthcare, wildlife conservation, and access to essential resources. Participants will also meet Painted Dog Conservation, an organization dedicated to protecting one of Africa’s most endangered carnivores. Their work includes anti-poaching operations, rehabilitation, and education programmes, combining species protection with conservation awareness and tangible benefits for surrounding communities. --- Trip structure The journey is organized into three main phases: Two days of discovery and exploration of Victoria Falls prior to the volunteering experience Seven days of volunteering activities near Hwange National Park, including three game drives Four days on safari in one of the most remote areas of Hwange National Park For additional details, please do not hesitate to contact us: info@indigoearthfoundation.com
