Tonight, we continue the Landmarks series with Part 4 — heading to one of Britain’s most mysterious and enduring monuments: Stonehenge. Rising from the plains of Wiltshire, Stonehenge has stood for over 4,000 years. Built long before Rome, before written history in Britain, its massive standing stones remain an engineering puzzle and a symbol of prehistoric ingenuity. Was it a calendar? A ceremonial site? An astronomical observatory? Even today, its true purpose sparks debate. To properly explore it, we’re taking to the skies in Taog’s Hangar H500 helicopter — perfect for low-level sightseeing, controlled positioning, and precise landmark overflight. Our journey begins off the southwestern coast in the Scilly Isles, tracking the rugged coastline of Cornwall, climbing northeast toward Exeter, and then cutting inland to the Salisbury Plain before hovering over Stonehenge itself. We finish with a final leg to Southampton. Route: EGHE – EGHC* – EGTE* – Stonehenge (POI) – EGHI* (* = denotes Full Stop Landing) Aircraft: Taog’s Hangar H500 Helicopter Simulator: Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 What to Expect Part 4 of the Landmarks exploration series. Helicopter flying with low-level coastal and inland navigation. Precise positioning over Stonehenge for a detailed overflight. Stunning UK coastline and countryside scenery. Historical storytelling about Stonehenge’s origins and mystery. Hands-on rotary flying with smooth energy and altitude control. About the Flight – From Coast to Ancient Monument This route blends natural beauty with ancient engineering: EGHE (St Mary’s, Scilly Isles): Island departure over open Atlantic waters. EGHC (Land’s End): Britain’s rugged southwestern edge. EGTE (Exeter): Transition inland toward Salisbury Plain. Stonehenge: One of the world’s most famous prehistoric sites. EGHI (Southampton): Coastal finale on England’s south coast. From windswept cliffs to ancient standing stones, this flight bridges geography and deep history. 🆕 Patreon: / twotonemurphy 📺 Subscribe & Turn On Notifications: / @twotonemurphy 👨✈️ Join the Community and hang out in the TTM Flying Circus: https://www.twotonemurphy.com/discord #MSFS2024 #LandmarksSeries #Stonehenge #HelicopterFlight #H500 #UKFlying #AviationHistory flightsimulator #TwoToneMurphy #TTMFlyingCircus 🗓️ I livestream Monday to Friday at 20:00z Powered by GG Machines – elite PC builds for simmers & creators: https://www.ggmachines.ie/ 🌐 WEBSITE ►► https://www.twotonemurphy.com/ 🎮 TWITCH ►► / twotonemurphy "Landmarks Part 4 | Stonehenge | H500 Helicopter | MSFS 2024" "Flying to Stonehenge | Taog’s Hangar H500 | Microsoft Flight Simulator" "Helicopter Landmark Flight | UK Coast to Stonehenge | MSFS" "Stonehenge Overflight | H500 Helicopter | MSFS 2024" "UK Scenic Helicopter Flight | Landmarks Series" "Prehistoric Britain from the Air | Stonehenge | MSFS" "Helicopter Exploration | England Coastline | TwoToneMurphy" "Landmarks Series | Stonehenge Flight | MSFS 2024"
