East Broad Top 16: Autumn in Coal Country FEBT Reunion Oct 2024

Over 60 mins of narrow gauge action!!! Every October, the Friends of the East Broad Top host a reunion to show off and celebrate their hard work and dedication to preserving the history of the East Broad Top Railroad. Special excursions were run with M-1 and M-3 motorcars, in addition to the 3 regular steam excursions headed by 2-8-2 #16. The highlights of both days were the morning hopper train runs with #16 on the point pulling vintage EBT hoppers and one of the new coaches. However, history was made on Oct. 5th as #16 backed the 5pm dinner train to Jordan Summit (the first time a revenue train had run on this part of the railroad since 1956!!!!). The train then proceeded from top of Jordan Summit to the end of the line at Colgate Grove. The Rockhill Trolley Museum was also in operation, running trolleys and streetcars up and down the Shade Gap branch of the EBT. Join us trackside at many different locations along the line with #16, M-1, and M-3 polishing the rails of the 'Old Eastie". As David P.
