Belizean Powder Buns | Recipes Using Coconut Flakes

This tasty snack brings back so many good childhood memories. My mom would always have a batch of these baked up for my sister and I when we got home from school. ⬇️⬇️⬇️ RECIPE BELOW ⬇️⬇️⬇️ 👩🏻‍🍳 BELIZEAN POWDER BUNS 2 cups all-purpose flour ¾ cup brown sugar ¾ cup unsweetened coconut flakes, put in food processor if necessary 1 ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon 1 ¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg 2 teaspoons baking powder ¼ teaspoon salt 6 tablespoons margarine ¼ cup evaporated milk 1 teaspoon vanilla 1 egg Bake at 400 F or 204 C for 15 minutes. This recipe makes 10 powder buns.
