Myrna Kushniruk was diagnosed with breast cancer in March of 2013, soon after she moved to Penticton. Without family and friends around, she felt alone. However, things changed after joining the Penticton Survivorship Dragon Boat team. Having gone through the same journey, the whole team supports and pushes each other through the struggles.
