Sweet Breakfast Waffle Nachos https://themenumaid.com/sweet-breakfa... Carnitas Sweet Potato Nachos https://themenumaid.com/carnitas-swee... Simple Slow Cooker Pork Carnitas Recipe 4 bone-in country ribs 1 1/2 tsp chili powder 1 tsp cumin 1 tsp dried oregano 1 tsp salt 1/2 tsp pepper 1 large orange, juiced 1 lime, juiced 1 small yellow onion, sliced 2-3 garlic cloves, minced Combine seasonings and coat all sides of the country ribs--like a dry rub. Optional step- sear pork on all sides until golden before placing in the slow cooker but you don't have to. Add onions and garlic to the slow cooker and place pork on top. Pour the orange and lime juice over pork. Cook on high for 5-6 hours or until the pork falls off the bone. Or cook on low for 8-9 hours. Shred pork and enjoy. Optional- for authentic style carnitas, place shredded pork under the broiler on a sheet pan to crisp up the meat, just until caramelized. Use in tacos, burritos, salads, or my sweet potato nachos.
