4K Australia and Sydney by Drone - Gliding #010 features aerial cinematography by David Moore, co-founder of MTSDrones.com. Shot entirely on a DJI Mavic Pro 3. Locations: Scene 1 – Reef Bay. Tucked away in the Sydney's North Harbour between Forty Baskets Beach and Dobroyd Head is a gorgeous stretch of sparkling coastline. Whilst the majority of tourists head to nearby Manly to dip into the sea, there is much beauty and peace to be found just a short distance away inside the harbour. (And far less crowds) Soundtrack: ‘Guardian Angel’ by by Lindy Botha Scene 2 – The Bluff, Forestville - This scene starts over Bantry Bay and heads to an interesting rock formation known as The Bluff. Herein lies 'The Devil's Smile', a combination of erosion and a creative imagination. Soundtrack: ‘Dream' by Lex Music. Scene 3 – Edwards Beach - Found beside Balmoral Beach near Mosman, Edwards Beach is part of Sydney's Middle Harbour. Ideal for swimming, windsurfing, kayaking and snorkelling, almost all of these activities are visible on this sunny Saturday morning when the scene was shot. Soundtrack: ‘Valley’ by SoulProd Music. Scene 4 – Circular Quay, Sydney - This timelapse enables us to see the dance of a cruise ship as it departs Sydney whilst ferries buzz back and forth. All the time, cars pump across the Sydney Harbour Bridge and along the Cahill Expressway like ants marching to and from their nest. Soundtrack: ‘A Waltz For Two’ by Joe O'Rourke Music. For more of Joseph's original compositions visit: www.joeorourkemusic.com Scene 5 – Turrimetta Beach. this is a perilous place to swim due to the rips that form at the centre and both ends of the beach. However it's steep bluffs and rocky outcrops make it one of my favorites to fly along the Northern Beaches. Normally fairly quiet from sunbathers because of its dangerous swimming conditions it is a great place to escape the rat race of life. Soundtrack: ‘I Am Calm Healing’ by Joseph Nimoh. Scene 6 – Parramatta River. this scene tracks a RiverCat Ferry along Parramatta River from Meadowbank to Gladesville as it hops from terminal to terminal. Soundtrack: ‘Achieve The Impossible’ by Roger Stark. Scene 7 - North Harbour - To finish this episode of 'Drifting' it's a return to Sydney's North Harbour and a gentle glide between the many yachts at mooring. The sun is low on the horizon as the new day had just started which also explains the pink hues in the sky above Manly at the end of the movie. Soundtrack: ‘Deep Sleep’ by Jules.
