We also cut open eggs and pull three babies out of the uterus. What I tentatively call the pancreas is the spleen - just a very oddly flattened spleen. The pancreas is in fact further down the alimentary canal above the duodenum and looks kind of like a cyst on the intestine. The kidneys are very difficult to see but are compressed against the spine of the shark under a membrane. They are there, just hard to see in the lighting situation I had. Almost linear compared to more rounded kidneys of other vertebrates.
