How to upcycle plastic containers using air dry clay! This is the very basics of how to use air dry clay. Once you get the hang of it, I can only imagine what you’ll create. Things to remember: some clay dissolved a bit in water makes a great “slip”. Slip helps smooth areas and patch gaps as well as fill in small cracks that may pop-up later. Drying is a long slow process. It needs to be completely dry before sanding and painting. Oh, and sanding can make it look very nice but remember to wipe off all sanding dust well before painting.
