There are many stereotypes and fears from many in the healthcare community that recovering addicts do not make good support peer counselors. This video dispels that myth. We shot for one day in Philadelphia, PA and interviewed peer support counselors, academics, health administrators and people who were currently being treated to tell this great story about how the peer support system works.
