How to paint easy trees in watercolour

Hello and welcome to this fun demonstration of painting trees. Trees are one of my favourite subjects and you will enjoy painting them too. These two beautiful trees at my bedroom window remind me of the old poem, ‘Tree at my Window, window tree…’ The two trees are meant to be the focal point, hence the detailing. I have used mixtures of burnt and raw sienna, burnt umber, Prussian blue, neutral tint, lemon yellow, a little Sap and Perylene green. All the paints I use are artist grade and I don’t get any commissions. The masking tape is ordinary painter’s tape. Do give this painting a try - it is easy and very therapeutic.
