Protesters demanding an end to military rule in Egypt have continued to clash with authorities, as anger over the recent, deadly football riots in the town of Port Said continues to grow. Allegations that the bloodshed was encouraged by the police are gaining momentum. Twin brothers who play for Al-Masry -- the match's home team -- also spoke out. Karim and Mohamed Zekri said that even before kick-off, they felt that something was wrong. They said tickets were not being checked in the usual way, and for the first time in the town's history, the governor and the chief of police didn't attend the game. Karim said that after the match the teams were ordered to go to their changing rooms, and it was only later, upon leaving his dressing room and discovering dead bodies in the stadium, that he realised what had happened. He said that strangely, there had been no police in the stands or the players' tunnel. His brother Mohamed, who did not attend the game, claimed that thugs armed with swords gathered outside the stadium in full view of the police, but the police made no move to apprehend them. It has also emerged that panicked fans couldn't leave the stadium because the doors had been bolted shut. The brothers said that believed they were risking their lives by speaking out about the riots but said they were willing to die if it meant the truth would emerge.
