A tutorial of how I naturally dye my hair auburn with Morrocco Method henna and indigo leaf. Go to 4:17 to skip intro Instructions from Morrocco Method website: https://mmdocs-morroccomethod.netdna-... Morrocco Method medium brown henna: https://shop.morroccomethod.com/Henna... Lush henna bars (I like the shade Marron): https://www.lushusa.com/hair/henna-ha... Instructions for my way: Ingredients: Two packages of Medium Brown Morrocco Method henna hair dye Around 3 cups of strongly brewed black tea 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar 2 tbsp olive oil Two dashes Celtic Sea Salt 1 tsp of Amla powder Around 1 cup filtered water Items you need: Wooden bowl Wooden spoon Measuring cup Tbsp Tsp Plastic wrap Gloves Baby wipes Face oil (olive oil works) Rag towels Shopping bags or shower cap Old hoodie or beanie cap Hair ties Newspaper and towels for the floor Pour the packages labelled “medium brown henna” into the wooden bowl. Slowly add black tea and apple cider vinegar, and stir until it’s the the consistency of yogurt. Press out the clumps. Then add olive oil, Celtic Sea Salt, and Amla. Stir. Cover with plastic wrap and let sit for 3-12 hours. I let it sit for 3 this time. Prepare the area you will be applying it in with towels and newspaper. Put your gloves, baby wipes, hair ties, rag towels, and face oil in arms reach. Take off the plastic wrap and add the two bags labeled “medium brown indigo”. Slowly stir in any remaining black tea until it’s the consistency of yogurt. If you run out of tea, add filtered water until it is the right consistency. Put face oil on your skin around application area to keep it from getting dyed. Apply henna/indigo mixture to clean hair. Cover your head with a layer of plastic wrap. Then secure a plastic shopping bag, or a shower cap over it. Then put a hoodie or beanie on top. Leave in for 1-4 hours. I left mine in for 3 1/2 this time. Rinse thoroughly with warm water. Wait until the next day to wash with shampoo. Channel icon artwork: Kaylyn Murphy Music: Fever by Hemlock Sleepwalking by Smokefishe #hennahairdye #indigo #henna
