Rahul Gandhi arrived in Amethi, Uttar Pradesh on Monday for a two-day visit, his first after taking over as party chief. Gandhi started his day by paying visit to Churva Hanuman Mandir on Lucknow-Rae Bareli road. He then proceeded towards Amethi where he attacked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath for "lying" and not honouring promises made to people.
