Worldpremiere at K 2025: New Elion MED produces autoinjector housings

🚀 Recap of a phenomenal product launch at K 2025. We presented our new generation Elion 1200 MED live in our booth and demonstrated how autoinjector housings were produced at a phenomenal 8.9 s cycle time. This was made possible thanks to our proven Netstal injection molding performance, an innovative 4-cavity mold from Zahoransky with state-of-the-art index technology with integrated rotary unit and individually controlled, servo-electric needle shut-off nozzles. The result: significantly reduced cycle times compared to conventional solutions. Maximum efficiency was ensured by fully integrated and space saving automation: a machine mounted 6-axis robot removed the parts with the mold closed, while the compact solution from Saxe handled optical quality control and automatic container changeover.
