It’s Time For My People To Get A Kingdom Mindset

God gave me these words to share with his people. He said, “It’s time for my people to get a kingdom mindset.” A kingdom mindset is a way of thinking that prioritizes spiritual values and God’s rule over worldly ones, involving a shift in perspective from temporary concerns to eternal ones. It means viewing life through a spiritual lens, seeking to align actions, decisions, and priorities with God’s will, and approaching all aspects of life as a representative of a spiritual kingdom. This includes serving others, exercising faith over fear, and intentionally applying God’s principles in all area of life, such as work, family, and community. Spiritual focus is a key aspect of a kingdom mindset. It involves focusing on spiritual principles and God’s eternal kingdom rather than solely on temporary earthly matters like wealth, prestige, or power. Shifting priorities to make choices that reflect heavenly values instead of worldly norms. Another key aspect is becoming Christ-like, showing love, and prioritizing the needs of others over personal comfort or ambition. The aspect of active influence encourages taking the principles of God’s kingdom and applying them in order to influence and reform different spheres of culture, such as family, education, media, and government. Purpose and vision is a key aspect that involves understanding that life has a purpose beyond the immediate, seeking to live out a vision that connects everything to God’s plan and purpose for the world. Then there’s the key aspect of faith over fear which means consciously choosing to let faith override fear and relying on God’s guidance, especially in the face of challenges. We can develop the characteristics of changing our mindset by intentionally renewing our mind. We consciously choose to let the Holy Spirit guide our thoughts and transform our way of thinking to align with God’s word. Matthew Chapter 9, verse 17 reads: Neither do men put new wine into old bottles: else the bottles break, and the wine runs out, and the bottles perish: but they put new wine into new bottles, and both are preserved. Kingdom is the new wine and my understanding is you can’t mix a kingdom mindset with a religious one because they are different perspectives bringing different results. It will be difficult for many to choose to align themselves with the words that Jesus preached and taught. They will have to discover that God sent Jesus to preach kingdom and decide to get to know and receive him.
