Promenade Walk from Orka Lotus into Marmaris Today we set off from the Orka Lotus and took a leisurely stroll along the stunning Marmaris promenade. The weather was absolutely beautiful, bright blue skies, sunshine, and just the right amount of warmth for a relaxed walk by the sea. We ended up walking for around 90 minutes, completely absorbed in the calming view of the water and the buzz of activity around us. The promenade was full of character, perfect for people watching as locals and tourists alike soaked up the sunshine. Many of the beachfront hotels were busy getting ready to open for the season, while several bars and restaurants were already welcoming customers, creating a lovely holiday vibe. One of the most surprising sights was watching tractors at work, re-distributing the sand across the beach areas. It was quite fascinating to see how much effort goes into keeping the beach pristine, although I’m not sure how relaxing it would have been for anyone sunbathing nearby, definitely not the peaceful background noise you’d expect. We didn’t realise how far we’d walked until we found ourselves in need of a little break, so we did stop for a little brunch, keep your eyes out for part 2, as the filming continued into the early afternoon!
