We takes him as exception but here comes another counter argument that if there could be something which is created by none than by same argument universe can exist own its own and it do not need creator. if you accept that God can exist without a creator, it’s inconsistent to insist the universe can’t. The logic cuts both ways: either everything needs a cause, or something can be uncaused. If God gets a pass as an uncaused entity, then the universe could theoretically be uncaused too. Positing God as the sole exception often smells like special pleading, a convenient way to stop the regress where it suits the argument. Philosophically, there’s no airtight reason to grant God that exemption while denying it to the universe. Both could be brute facts—existing without external cause—or neither. The choice often boils down to metaphysical preference, not evidence.
