After breaking my ankle, I was laid up in bed longer than I ever expected. The pain, the isolation, and the lack of mobility slowly took a toll on my mental health. I stopped taking care of myself, stopped feeling motivated, and honestly fell into a pretty deep depression. I didn’t even upload videos during that time — I lost my entire summer. As the weeks turned into months, the little things I once took for granted started to disappear. Something as simple as trimming my nails or going out in public felt overwhelming. My feet became a reminder of how long I’d been stuck, how far I felt from my normal life, and how disconnected I was from the world around me. Letting myself go wasn’t intentional — it was a reflection of where my mind was at. Recently, I finally got some good news. My doctor told me the bones in my ankle have fused, meaning I can start moving forward again. That moment felt like a huge weight lifting off my shoulders. To celebrate, I decided to do something symbolic — get an extreme pedicure here in Pattaya, Thailand, and take the first step toward feeling like myself again. This wasn’t just about cleaning up overgrown long toe nails. It was about reclaiming confidence, showing up for life again, and reminding myself that setbacks don’t get the final word.
