In the parable of the Prodigal Son (Luke 15:11-32), Jesus tells the story of a young man who demands his inheritance, leaves home, and wastes everything on reckless living. When he loses it all and finds himself at his lowest point, he decides to return home-hoping only to be treated as a servant. Instead, his father runs to meet him, embraces him, and celebrates his return. But the story doesn't stop there. The older brother struggles with anger and resentment when he sees the celebration for the brother who left. This powerful story invites us to reflect on our own hearts. If you were one of the men in the story... what would you do? • Would you return home like the younger son? • Would you run with compassion like the father? • Or would you struggle like the older brother?
