Alicia is a fashion designer, merchandiser, and passionate about the fashion industry. Alicia has taken on many roles in the somewhat cut throat fashion industry. From driving vans at Karen Walker, to volunteering at NZ Fashion weeks, to running her own business, Alicia gives us an interesting insight into the fashion industry in New Zealand. Her advice, as well as taking your creative subjects, look at media, being digital iterate and accounting. There are so many different avenues out there in the fashion industry, not everyone is going to be a fashion designer! And she wants to know, as teachers, how we can show these pathways and help students coming through to be prepared.
