East Khasi Hills SP confirms Indore missing couple case as homicide

In a major development, East Khasi Hills Superintendent of Police Vivek Syiem on June 3 confirmed that the Indore couple missing incident is a case of homicide. Syiem was speaking to the media, where he said that the 'dao' or machete, which was recovered from the gorge near Weisawdong Falls, was new and was used in the incident. Alongside the weapon, police also recovered a broken mobile phone, believed to belong to the victim. The body of Raja Raghuvanshi was found on June 2 near Weisawdong Falls at the Riat Arliang parking lot.
